4000 kN Metal Chip Briquetting Press with High Density Output for Cast Iron and Aluminum Chip Recycling
The 400-ton metal chip briquetting press is a high-performance hydraulic machine designed for compacting loose metal chips into dense cylindrical briquettes. It is widely used in CNC machining plants, foundries, and scrap recycling facilities to process steel chips, cast iron turnings, aluminum shavings, and other metal residues.
With a powerful 4000 kN pressing force, the machine ensures high-density output, making briquettes suitable for direct furnace charging. This greatly improves melting efficiency while reducing oxidation loss.
By converting loose chips into compact blocks, the system helps reduce storage space, lower transportation costs, and improve the overall recycling value of metal waste—especially important for European and South American markets with strict environmental and efficiency requirements.

| Cooling System | Water cooling (optional) |
| Oil Recovery | Available (optional) |
| Machine Weight | Approx. 12 – 18 tons |
The machine uses a hydraulic system to compress loose metal chips in the pressing chamber. The main cylinder applies high pressure to form compact briquettes with consistent density.
During compression, residual oil and coolant are squeezed out and can be collected through a recovery system. Once the briquette reaches the required density, it is automatically ejected, and the next cycle begins.
This ensures continuous, efficient, and stable operation for industrial metal recycling applications.
